The exhibition Her Circle, after its premier in Belgrade’s gallery Kolektiv as part of the Mikser festival 2016 and its installation in Paris in the gallery of the Serbian Cultural Center in July and August 2016, will be shown also in Novi Sad in the gallery DaNS.
The exhibit showing the female production in the field of architecture, urbanism and design, from the beginning of the 20th century until today, was initiated by Mikser, as part of the Womenal program in this year’s Mikser festival, strongly colored with topics of gender equality, women’s creativity and social equality.
Her Circle is dedicated to the promotion and afirmation of the production of women – authors in the fields of architecture, urbanism and design in Serbia since the beginning of the 20th century until today. Mapping, presentation, marking and visiting buildings designed by women allows the public to be reminded, introduced and exposed to their creativity, with chronological, geographical, author and style references.
At the exhibition and the following programs, the audience is introduced to a representative choice of buildings built from the beginning if the 20th century and representative authors of different styles that depict the architectural heritage of Belgrade, Novi Sad and Serbia, with the focus on women architects. With important names such as Jelisaveta Načić, Milica Krstić, Jovanka Bončić-Katernić, Zora Mitrović Pajkić, Milica Šterić and Radmila Milosavljević and their creative opus, the exhibit presents the public with the female face of Belgrade, Novi Sad and Serbia.

The exhibition Njen krug will be open at the DaNS gallery in Novi Sad (Miletićeva street no.20) from 2nd to 16th December 2016.
